Common questions about Wix
Is Wix good enough for a real business website?
Yes, for the right kind of business. For a local service business with a handful of pages, bookings and an enquiry form, a well-built Wix site does the job properly. Where it struggles is heavy content, bespoke functionality and pixel-exact design control.
How much does a Wix website cost with you?
Our Wix Standard Build is a fixed £650 for up to five pages, with a Wix Studio custom design, mobile-first layouts, contact and booking forms and basic on-page SEO. Bigger projects are quoted as a Bespoke Build.
Is the Wix subscription included in that price?
No. Wix hosts your site, so a Wix premium plan is required and paid directly to Wix on your own account, separately from our build fee. We advise which plan you need before you buy and we don't add anything on top of it.
Do I need a hosting plan from you as well?
No. Because hosting sits inside your Wix subscription, our Sitemate hosting and care plans aren't needed for Wix builds. We can still be booked for changes and support as you need them.
Will I be able to edit the site myself?
That's the main reason to choose Wix. You edit the page as you see it, from a browser or the Wix mobile app, and we hand over with a walkthrough plus a short written guide.
Can Wix handle online bookings?
Yes. Wix Bookings covers services, durations, staff calendars, deposits, online payments and automatic reminders. We configure it around how your business actually books work in.
Can I sell products on Wix?
Yes, Wix Stores handles a small to medium range with checkout, payments, shipping and stock. If you have a large catalogue or complex fulfilment, we'd point you to our dedicated e-commerce service instead, built on Shopify or WooCommerce.
Is Wix bad for SEO?
Not inherently. Wix gives you titles, meta descriptions, clean URLs, alt text, structured data and a sitemap, and we set those up as part of the build. Rankings come from structure, content and local signals more than the platform.
Can you rebuild or fix my existing Wix site?
Yes, and it's a common request. We can work on your existing Wix account and rebuild the site properly, keeping the domain and subscription you already pay for.
