Which platform is right for you?

We recommend the right approach for how you need to sell, not the one we’d rather build on. Both are strong, proven platforms. The right one depends on how you want to manage your store.

Common e-commerce questions

Should I choose Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify suits businesses who want a highly managed, straightforward platform with hosting and security handled for you. WooCommerce suits businesses who want WordPress flexibility, ownership and more control over customisation. We’ll help you decide on a discovery call.
How much does an online store cost?
It depends on the number of products, design complexity, integrations, shipping requirements and any custom functionality. Every quote is scoped to what your store actually needs.
How long does an e-commerce website take?
Most projects take three to six weeks depending on catalogue size, platform, design requirements and revision rounds.
Can you redesign my existing online store?
Yes. We regularly rebuild and restructure existing stores, keeping the products, customers and orders you already have.
Can you migrate my current products and customers?
Yes, migrating an existing store’s products, customers and order history onto a new platform is part of our Website Migration service.
Are there ongoing platform costs?
Shopify charges its own monthly subscription and transaction fees. WooCommerce has no core subscription, but needs hosting, available through our Hosting & Care plans.
Can you connect my store to other business software?
Yes. Payment gateways, shipping providers, email marketing, CRM and accounting integrations are commonly scoped into e-commerce builds.
What happens after launch?
You can add a Hosting & Care plan for ongoing hosting, updates, monitoring and support, or manage the finished store yourself.
